It’s the first day of Spring. Hurrah. Here’s to warmer weather to those of you hit hard with old man winter of late.
As you might guess, people tend to think the Pacific Northwest is always wet and gray. In fact, while we do get our share of rain, we also get plenty of sun breaks too. July, August and September are generally our driest months of the year.
Most of the time, it’s easy to put up with the rain because of all the great beauty it produces. Lush, green forests, an abundance of vibrant flowers, sparkling waterfalls, and beautiful water-ways. And, those waterways give us plenty of outdoor fun and recreation.
Nature abounds, and we appreciate all of the beauty the rain brings to support our special environment.
